Why won't any of my gauges work on my 1988ford f-150?
Three possibilities, blown fuse for the guages check the fuse box, guage cluster wire connector loose, Bad guage cluster.
Your turn signal wont work in your 1989 f150 and it keeps blowing fuses and brake lights will not work?

it all depends on the model of f150 you have. some came with 20 inch, 18 inch and the smallest were 17 inch. But if you have 17 inch original wheels and you want to buy aftermarket wheels for your truck they wont work..Some will but most wont due to steel being then and alloy being thick there is not much roon (1/4 inch) between wheel and brake caliper.
Yes and no you have to rebuild the gauges so they read 12 volt The volt meter wont work with an alternator it was designed for a generator The fuel gauge is different ohms if you stay with the 6 cylinder engine the oil and temp gauge will work but if not the temp gauge has to have a longer tube installed and the oil gauge has to have different fittings installed. on the upside…

unplug your crank sensor and see if your gauges start to work some of the time the crank sensor will short and cause a lot of problems if the gauges start to work replace the crank sensor if not look at the 3 wire sensors map tps and o2 sensors one of these vould be the problem also but when you unplug the sensor cycle the key off then on and give it a second…
