Its likely it could be your crank angle sensor. take it to the mechanic and get it scanned. the problem should show up

The VT Commodore might turn over a few times and then start if there are teeth missing on the flywheel. The starter wires might also be shorting out or loose.

Most likely, your steering lock has engaged. You simply need to turn the steering wheel in either direction while you turn the key and it will start right up.
