Why won't my sims 3 installer let me continue after I enter the code on the back of the manual... It says to enter it and I did but the Continue button did not light up can you help?

Firstly, double-check that the code is right.
If not, where did you get the game from? If it's second hand, then maybe the person you bought it from switched it around with another code accidentally. If so, try to contact the person.
If all else fails, then contact EA by going to their website.
