You may have high router security or an incompatible router. Some routers wont even let other devices see the network. So go to your router security and allow your device. Then on the iPod, go to settings hit wifi and where it says choose a network see of your network shows up and enter your password. If it doesn't show up, manually type in your ssid and security protocol then type you username and/or password and see if it connects. You can also try to set up the device through your router utility and a wifi protected setup (WPS) button on your router.
unless you have a wifi router or have a hotspot nearby, your ipod wont connect to internet
you can turn your router off completely or on your ipod touch click on settings, wifi, other and then type in your network and the password!!!! i hope this helps if not go on to the apple website click on support, then ipod, then ipod touch, then click on one of the topics.
no
It should work...
maybe you have the wifi off or have the airplane mode on... go to settings/wifi and make sure its on
maybe youre not near a network or hotspot
This happened to me I'm writing this down on my iPod you go on settings then go on wifi and take off airplane mode or go on apple.com/help
I'm not sure but mine is doing the same thing
ipod to ipod connection is normally made using bluetooth... make sure your bluetooth is not off... settings/general/bluetooth
My iPod touch does this all the time. There are a few things that could be happening. 1. It could be that you are in a wifi zone that is password protected, but your iPod still says you are connected. 2. You could only be close enough to the wifi that you only get one "bar" so it takes a long time to load or it never does load and says it fails.
No you need the Iphone the touch only connects to the net through wifi and itunes and I'm sure the itunes connection wont allow you to surf through it either
It does have apps but they would only work with wifi connection. you wont have that in a car unless you have a wireless hotspot.
