Does the Speedometer work? a friend of mine had a 96 2.2 4L60E and the speedometer didnt work and wouldn't go into overdrive but the transmission shifted all other gears and downshifted fine.. just now OD, he put a new Speed sensor in the tailshaft of the tranny and it fixed it

Check the pressure on the low side of your ac it should be between 28 and 38 PSI, you are likely low on refrigerant
