First you have to beat the game. Then you need to complete the solar cave. This will introduce Spinda and the tale of the mirage pokemon. You will get the clear wing(it wont be in your invintory). Take this to Xatu at its home in the hill of the ancients. This is reached by clearing the great canyon dungeon. The fiery field will be opened. You can't recruit entie the first time through. Instead, you beat him, and it opens lightning field.
