You flash drive has FAT32 file system. FAT32 doens't support so big files. Try to format your flash drive in NTFS and everything will work. Also you might not have enough free disk space on your flash drive.

My friends flash drive is 2 terabytes and it wont configure to the new xbox how can I get it to configure?

your friends flash drive is not 2tb. more likely it is a 2 gig flash drive, and i would imagine the xbox doesnt like the format of the drive. try hooking it up to a laptop and formatting the flash drive. fat32 or ntfs will work. good luck.

Is a flash drive a good place to store photos for a long time?

no not really but I guess It depeneds on how long you are saving them for. If it's a long time like say six months then I wouldn't use a flash drive. But if its four maybe three weeks than I think that would be ok. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i improve this answer by saying it doesnt depend on the time as much as it does on the way you keep the flash drive since pictures are precious you dont want to lose them so dont put them on a flash drive that you wont care for

Will IOS5 support flash?

What is a file that keeps replicating itself and is labeled with only a tilde using Outlook Express or the address book?

This is a problem with how address are handled in Windows Outlook Express. Go to Windows and update your system. This will eliminate the problem. It is not anything to worry about. Just delete the file. It will return until you get your system updated. Be sure and install SP2. Do not download from the internet. Order the free CD from Microsoft and install with the CD. More Info on this issue. What is the Tilde (~) file that appears on Desktop What is this ~ file? The file appearing on your desktop with the filename ~, commonly known as a tilde, is a backup of your Windows Address Book. It is appearing as a result of the April 2003 Cumulative Patch for Outlook Express (330994). The patch is installed for Outlook Express 5.5 or 6 in response to a vulnerability that could allow an attacker to run code of the attacker's choice on a user's machine. To exploit the vulnerability, an attacker would have to be able to cause Windows to open a specially constructed MHTML URL, either on a web site or included in an HTML email message. Unfortunately, there is a bug in the patch.Whenever you make a change in your Windows Address Book file (*.wab file), Windows makes a backup of this file. Generally this backup is called user name.WA~ , however after the patch is installed the backup gets renamed to just ~ instead and saved in the directory where you start your Outlook Express. Most of the time, people start Outlook Express from a shortcut on their desktop, so the backup file gets placed there. This is how the tilde (~) file arrives on your desktop. Is the File a Virus and will Spyware or Anti-virus Utilities Find it? Because the file is simply a backup of your Windows Address Book, spyware searching utilities or anti-virus products wont flag it as anything suspicious. Can I Delete the ~ File? The simple answer is yes, the file can be deleted. However if it is deleted, you wont have a backup of your Windows Address Book if a virus or something else corrupts it or you accidentally delete the information in the address book. So I wouldn't necessarily delete the file without backing it up first. Personally, here are the steps I would take to remain safe in case you need the file again. Right click on the file and choose Rename Type in a name for the file and add the .wab extension to itFor Example, you might want to rename it to addressbook.wab or something similar Now, put a blank, formatted floppy disk in your floppy drive and right-click on the newly named file Choose Send To, Floppy Drive (most likely A) Now the file is backed up in case of emergency, right-click on the file on your desktop and choose DeleteEach time you make a change to your address book, this file will reappear so its a good idea to keep that floppy drive around and make a backup each time you make changes. This protects you from losing valuable email addresses in case of a disaster. An alternative to this would be to change the Start in option for Outlook Express. Find the shortcut to Outlook Express and right-click on it Click on Properties Make sure Read-only is unchecked on the General tab Click on the Shortcut tab In the "Start In" field, change it to an alternative path where the tilde file will appear, for example C:\ Click on Apply

Why wont windows movie maker allow you to put audio on from a flash drive?

The audio file you are trying to import into Windows Movie Maker is probably not compatible with the program. Audio files compatible with Windows Movie Maker include:aif, .aifc, .aiff .asf, .au, .mp2, .mp3, .mpa, .snd, .wav, .wmaIf the file name extension (format) of the audio in not one of those listed above, you are going to have to convert it before it can be imported.

Your computer wont save anything you download You check the file you saved the download to and it isn't there?

The first thing to do is to search the entire hard drive and see if the file was inadvertently saved somewhere else. Make sure you enable searching hidden files and folders.Make sure your hard drive isn't full.Check your antivirus and antispyware program logs and caches.Verify the file actually is downloading. Perhaps try downloading a file from a different website.Try a file download manager if the file is having difficulty with downloads.Try doing an error check on your HDD.
