A high percentage of the problem why a Mercedes E320 will not start when it is hot, it is the Crank Position Sensor(CPS). It is located on the Driver side of the engine, on Top, where the Engine block meets the Bell housing of the transmission.

2005 Mercedes Benz c240 wont start I was just told by the dealer when my C300 wouldn't start that the DIS module needs to be replaced. And they won't have one in for several days. My car is less than a year old - I'll update this if I have more info.

u have to take it out then see if its blown out or if it isn't if it is and your car is a 1999 you have to buy a 2002.... so it wont get blown
