Most likely either the switch or the motor is defective.

The oil switch on a 2001 Dodge Stratus 2.7L engine is towards the rear of the block on the right side of engine. The switch is covered by a triangular shaped heat shield that is secured by three bolts.

You have to pull the radio trim, instrument cluster trim & top center heat/ac vent. After these are out you can remove the 3- 7mm screws from the back holding the switch in.
It is for the rear heater. Press the button and this will enable heat to come out rear heater vents.
