Why won't you iPod let you turn down the volume every time I try to turn the volume down it goes right back up again by it's self and the volume screen won't go away what do I do?

had that exact same problem with my iPad. You need to back it up to iCloud and then put it on to another iPod, and get rid of the one you have. Otherwise, try to avoid pressing the volume button, and double click the main button to bring up the bottom screen menu and turn it up there. Hope this helps :)
