I'm not sure about the 94 Geo Metro, but I'm replacing one on a 97 Geo Metro hatchback. When you open the hood, the fuse box is on the far right hand side. There are two little black boxes over there, one of which has the fuses in them. I'm not sure what is in the other box -- more fuses? they look different, so I'm not sure. The top of the box (which pops off easily) has a little diagram that specifies what each individual fuse is connected to. The main fuse says BATT. I think this is referred to as the Main Fuse. It is a rectangular plastic yellow box with a clear top. It is attached with two screws that willl fit both a Phillips head screwdriver or a socket wrench. On my 97 it is a 70 amp, 32 volt fuse. Make sure you take it out to use as a comparison when you go to buy a replacement -- practically each make/model has different fitting shape, or so I'm told. I hope that was helpful.
depends on what year but on mine is right next to the emergency brake and it just pops off.
