Why wont an edited clip from windows movie maker work on other computers?

The clip will not work on other computers unless the file has been exported to a Standard viewing format. In other words, only files that have been Published/Finished can be viewed on other computers.
The reason you can't view a MSWMM (Microsoft Windows Movie Maker) project file is because the 'original source files' used to create the clip are not available on other computers. All the original source files used in a MSWMM project must be available in order to edit the clip on another computer using Windows Movie Maker.
