Could be a bad positive wire leading from the battery to the starter. Could be a bad solenoid (if you didn't replace it with the starter)
Try to crank the motor by hand to make sure its not locked up. To do this, get a breaker bar and the socket that fits the nut in the middle of the cam pulley (lowest pully on front of truck)
Battery is most likely dead.
sounds like the distributor.
Replacing the starter on the 5.7 liter/350ci Chevy V8 is fairly simple. Before beginning make sure the vehicle is parked securely and that the negative/ground cable is disconnected from the battery. Locate the starter, disconnect the electrical connections (possibly tagging them to ensure correct connections to the replacement starter) at the solenoid (attached to the starter body), remove the two bolts, back the starter out a bit and then lower it carefully from the vehicle. Installing the replacement is simply the reverse of the steps above: work the new starter into place, secure it with the bolts, tightly reconnect the wires to their terminals on the solenoid. When you're sure the starter and wires are correctly in place, reconnect the battery's ground cable.
Check all earth wires from battery to engine and earths from body to engine
The battery has only so much energy available. Headlights use a lot of energy. If you leave them on for any amount of time with the engine not running, less energy will be left in the battery to turn the starter. This is normal and to be expected. The older the battery, the less energy it can store. So if the battery in your car is old, it will make the problem worse.
You need to charge the battery with a battery charger.
take the battery terminals off and wire brush then and the terminals on the battery too to clean them and then re-hook.
Sounds like either your starter is dead or your solenoid switch is fried. Take it to a local auto parts store and have them test the starter for you.
Often cars that are parked overnight need to be recharged. It is possible that the battery has died and needs a replacement or a jump to start.
sounds like you need a NEW battery once a battery is 2 to 3 years old the cold will kill a battery

If your talking long term storage, yes. Disconnect and remove the battery for long term storage.
