Check you have bought the correct size retainer (they are most commonly made in 1.2mm (16G) or 1.6mm (14G)) you need to have the one which is the same size as your piercing.
Return to your piercer or the shop you bought the jewellery at, and they should be able to help you

No
Go to a different school. Or you get a lip retainer from your local professional body piercing studio.
u could tuck your lip in your mouth
If it is absolutely necessary go to your piercer and ask about a glass retainer. You really shouldn't change it and it will still be visible with a glass retainer. The swelling may be obvious too.
If you're trying to hide it you best bet is wearing a clear glass retainer. If its new, go to your piercer and ask them to change it for you.
Get a retainer. You can use acrylic but I think glass works best. It wont completely hide it but its better than nothing. You can find them online but look around at your local piercing shops first :)
Most of the time its just clear plastic jewelery.
Bio Plast and PTFE retainers are available for your piercing, you need to talk to your local professional body piercer who can order in a retainer for your piercing.
You definitely can't hide a ring. Go to you piercer and ask for a glass retainer instead. You'll probably have to pay for the new jewelry but it will already be cleaned.
No because retainer pierces are plastic which isn't pure at all for the body. Your initial piercing is almost always sterling silver and it will take about a month or so depending on how quickly and fully your lip has healed.
immediatly go to a clinic or see a doctor disinfectant wont be enough the tetnis virus will still be present (tetnis is deadly)
If you ask your piercer, they should be able to put a clear glass retainer in instead of a ring or metal stud.
