I have the same problem today, you can hear the solenoid when you turn the key but nothing, please help!!
vovlo wont start using key
Very carefully.
Unhook the battery to stop them, and probably the control module or switch went bad and that's the reason they wont turn off.
Do the dash lights come on now that you have put in a new fuse...Does the motor rotate or try to turn over....If not, it sounds like you have a bad ignition switch....
If you jack one side of the car up high enough,it will turn over,it will have to turn over when the tilt is past the critical point. Hope this helps!
check that switch it's probably defective or for some reason its staying "open" it may simply be faulty wiring.
The blower on a 2002 Nissan Pathfinder won't turn off if the switch is stuck in the on position or the relay is defective. Removing the blower fuse will cause the fan to turn off.
If the freewheel hub will not turn to the free position on a 1990 Toyota Hilux, it may need to be lubricated. The freewheel hub turns clockwise to free itself and counter clockwise to engage.
With the cylinder removed there is no easy way to turn the switch it would normally operate to the "off" position.
ford 99 contour will not start, front wheel is in lock position. how do you fix the anti- lock system
You might want to check your light switch, and check under the hood for any other reated fuses if u haven't already
I have had this issue when my Volvo has sat for long periods of time... Best bet might be to make sure the battery has a charge, and if it has sat for a long time, keep trying to start it andpress the gas to get gas to the engine.
