Possible reasons your car's alternator is not charging: Drive belt loose or missing Alternator has failed
On the 1993 Lebaron I believe only the 3.0L V6 engine was offeredwith the A604 4sp electronic overdrive transmission. The transmission filler tube is also the transmission dipstick tube and is located on the "driverside" end of the engine. There should be a "T" handle dipstick with "Transmission Fluid" labeled on it. Use a small funnel and DO NOT OVER FILL THE TRANSMISSION" Make absolutely sure your arent putting the tranny fluid in the ENGINE OIL dipstick tube located at the front center of the engine!
Just reverse order of removal.
Okay, first loosen the tensioning unit on the ac compresser. Afterwards, take of the alternator, this is not the proper, but the orthodox way is way to much of a pain, then you will have the belts lose, put your new belts on, tighten the tensioner, To put on the alternator, use a crowbar after putting the center bolt, pull back to bring back tension to the serpentine belt, tighten the bolt, and then you can start the car, the serpentine has an automatic tensioner pulley, as long as the belt has at least a suffecient amount of tension, the autotensioner will take of the exact tension require to sustain the belt
