the programming in the dsi is trying to disallow any n5, R4 or any cartridge in that sense to work. Nintendo is trying to make Nintendo consumers actually purchase the game than playing either "illegally" or legally downloaded games
If you updated the DSi, the new update may prevent you to use the R4i
no it doesn't work you need to buy a new tt chip - flash card
The TTDS can't work on the 3DS console. But there is a new TT 3DS card, which can run DSi games perfectly on Nintendo 3DS console.
no, you need to buy the new acekard 2i for it to work on the dsi
You can upgrade the kernel on your R4i SDHC card with the 1.14 version through the link listed below. The r4i sdhc 3ds card can work on Nintendo 3DS V4.0.0-7, 3DS V3.0.0, 3DS V2.0.0, DSiXL/DSiLL/DSi V1.4.4, V1.4.3, V1.4.1, DSi V1.4 and DS lite. The r4i sdhc dsi card can only work on Nintendo DSi and DS lite.
Go buy a new one
no it doesnt but theres a new version for dsi that came out!
The firmware updates usually include anti-piracy fixes to block the usage of flash cards. The update is not reversable, not even with a system reset. You are still able to use your original game cartridges though, and should check AceKard's site to see if they've issued a patch for the card. Otherwise it's get a different flash card or get a new DSi.
Only if you buy a R4i DS.If you have DSi Firmaware 1.4 , you will need to make sure the box says "v1.4!" If the r4 card is marked with "dsi" then it can support DSi console. Original r4 ds card can only work on DS console.
you need a R4i card
Flash cards like R4DS don't work on the DSi. Apparentely they aren't compatible with the system like they are for the DS lite or DS. I'm sure The Action Replay company will make an action replay for DSi too, so don't worry! 26/4/09 Hey, I hear that there is a new R4DS card for DSi, so it's a R4DSi now, right? That means, soon on the way, there'll be a new AR DSi.
Yes it can work :)
