I am a certified music teacher and really it depends. If you listen to Mozart yes. anything else no. and it has been proven that if you list to heavy metal or rap you will actually do worse. So I would say pop is out too. But I have used the Mozart with kids in my class and it works.

there is no real way to test a fuel pump you just haft to listen to it. When you turn your key over you should hear it kick in. Listen for it to click and relay from the switch to the pump. Other than that you have no way to test it.
