appears no fire going to spark plugs
is it just blaring and wont stop or it wont let you start the vehicle?
there is insufficient vehicle info and symptoms to answer this question.
Several things can cause your vehicle not to start. The most common cause of the vehicle not starting is a battery that needs to be charged.
If the vehicle has a security feature check the fuse under the hood. My 2001 SL1 had that problem. its like a 30 Amp fuse.
When a vehicle won't start first check to see if the battery is dead. If not then check the gas, if neither of these are the issue contact a mechanic.
Yes Check to see if vehicle is getting spark
Answer to the car died and wont restartit could be your timing belt
What vehicle is this on? Fuel injected or carburator? Engine size?
You would diagnose the problem and either fix it or scrap the vehicle.
I had the same problem with my Grand Am and there is a recall on the ignition switch. I had to take the vehicle to an authorized GM dealer and they replaced it for me at no cost.
