You need to have a YouTube account linked to your Google+ account to comment and let others reply to that comment, so yes you need to have an account (be a member).

YouTube does not take iMovie files. You must share the file as a QuickTime file (do not do full quality - that will make it a .dv file).

How do you post in forums?
