Jesus is the Son of God. Without him dying for us we have no way of making it to heaven. He said we must be born again, that is to say you have to accept the Holy Ghost. But you also have to live according to the word (KJV bible), be obedient to God's will and ways. When Jesus died and rose up on the third day we are able to receive the Holy Ghost and we have the power to become the Sons of God. But God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are one in the Godhead. They are the same except you don't worship the Holy Ghost. It just allows you to have access to God through Jesus Christ. God is able to be broken down into time. That's why The Bible says he is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. He is the first and the last. He sees everything from your birth, to now, to your death and beyond. He is omnipresent. That's why he is God the creator, Jesus the Son and Mediator, and the Holy Ghost, God dwelling in us. Or you could look at it this way: Our Pastor is married with kids. He is the pastor, he is a husband, and he is a father. Same man, three different things. Only read the King James Version Bible. If you don't have the Holy Ghost, do what Romans 10:9. The evidence of the Holy Ghost is speaking in tongues to let you know.

The Bible tells us that Jesus is the son of God, but also Fully God. So 100% man and 100% God. Jesus is not a prophet but the fulfillment of the prophecy that God would send his son to die for the World.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. (John 3:16-17 ESV) God being the gracious, loving creator that he is knew that the world would become depraved. He also knew he would have to save the very world he put into existence because of it's depravity. God showed the ultimate love (or in the Hebrew language AGAPE-- Love as revealed in Jesus, seen as spiritual and selfless and a model for humanity.) when he sent his only son to the world to take the weight and sin of the world for the world! Jesus, a fully innocent and sinless being, showed the same love by allowing persecutors to put him up on a cross, the equivalent of an electric chair.

So by saying Jesus is God, that not enough. Yes they are one and the same, but as a Christian we worship them both as the Father and the Son.

Additonal Answer:

Jesus came to reveal His Father whom He said was greater than He. He established His Father's Church and announced the Coming Kingdom of God. Above all, He placed His Father first:

Mark 12:30New King James Version (NKJV)

30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first commandment.

Yet, the Father has given all to His Son who became our perfect sacrifice for all sin. He is our Mediator and sits at the right hand of the Father. All things we ask through Him, in the proper spirit according to God's Will, will be answered. By Jesus we can come boldly to the Throne of God - there is no other intercessor for mankind - and as such, being the Son of God and the Son of Man, we pray to and through Him to the Father.

What prophet do Jews Christians and Muslims worship?

Jews and Muslims do not worship any prophet. Both Judaism and Islam hold that God and only God is the appropriate object of worship. Muslims consider Jesus a prophet, and Christians do worship Jesus. Christians do not worship any of the other people that both Jews and Muslims respect as prophets.Perhaps the question should have been "what prophets are accepted as legitimate by Jews, Christians and Muslims." In that case, all of the prophets accepted by Judaism are on the list, not just one single prophet. Moses, yes, but also Abraham and Isaiah are on the list.

Do Christians accept Jesus as a prophet?

Christians consider Jesus as the son of God, and as such, He is a prophet. Prophets point to God. Christians believe that Jesus IS God, and at the same time, He also points the way clearly and conclusively to God. This makes Him a prophet. Jesus, in fact, occupies the offices of Prophet, Priest and King.
