This is yet another example of something which is not a question but is in fact an assignment set by your teacher for you to do.
he strongly believes i democracy, and listens to the other boys
I would like the answer to this as well. As Simon is my Great, Great Grandfather!!! Please contact me at sassy2975@hotmail.com
Technically he has all of the choir boys on his side. But his chief assistant would be Roger.
You would have to read the conversation and use your own words for it.
Simon faints on occasion and also seems to suffer from epilepsy, which would account for his imagined conversation with the Lord of the Flies, his nose bleed and subsequent collapse. Having seen the unsympathetic reaction of the boys towards Percival's nervous breakdown Simon would seek to avoid a similar reaction. The need to avoid being seen while experiencing an epileptic fit would account for Simon's desire to spend time alone in his 'secret place.' It seems that he simply sat there and thought.
If Jack was elected as chief in "Lord of the Flies," there would likely be a shift towards a more authoritarian and aggressive leadership style. Jack's focus on hunting and power could lead to increased divisions and conflicts within the group. The dynamics of the boys' society would probably become more chaotic and brutal under Jack's rule.
If Simon had survived in "Lord of the Flies," he may have been able to provide a voice of reason and morality to counteract the growing savagery of the other boys. His presence could have potentially prevented the tragic events that unfolded on the island, leading to a more cooperative and civil outcome for the group.
Simon in Lord of the Flies is not the primary protagonist; that role is typically given to Ralph. Simon is more of a symbolic and spiritual figure in the story, representing goodness and purity in a world of chaos and savagery.
Saying that the Lord of the Flies speakes in 'the voice of a schoolmaster' shows that Simon is still thinking of home, but more importantky that the boys are following the Lord of the Flies rules on the island in the same way they would the schoolmaster back in England.
''Simon a quel âge?'' would mean ''How old is Simon?''
After Simon has regained consciousness after his epileptic attack he knows that the 'beast' is just a part of each and every one of them. He therefore climbs the mountain to see for himself what it was that Samneric, and later Ralph, Jack and Roger, mistook for a real beast. Simon find the dead body of an airman, which is made to move in a life-like manner when gusts of wind catch the parachute which is still attached to the body. Simon frees the trapped parachute lines from the rocks, which allows the figure to slump at rest, no longer a puppet at the mercy of the wind.
That would be Paul Simon.
