You probably have a leak.
You should take it to a mechanic, have the system inspected to locate and fix the leak and then recharge the system. By doing so you will be a responsible citizen of Earth, respecting the environment and your fellow animals on this polluted but ultimately cleanable planet.
You will probably just go to your local automotive store, buy a can of refrigerant and recharge the system without plugging the leak. After all, repairs and expensive and who the heck wants to go to all that trouble? Have you seen how hot it is?!
