may want to check and see if the spark plugs had the proper gap. also if you tried to upgrade the spark plugs like buying platnium or split fire..those upgrades require a upgraded coil It could be distributor (if it has a distributor), injectors, valves or a number of other problems.
I had that happen n I changed my plugs n coil pack...easy to do
