Christians are supposed to give a little support to all human beings, regardless of their beliefs. A Christian would support a Muslim because he was there.
However, supporting a person (a Muslim) is a very different thing from supporting an ideology (Islam). No informed Christian would support Islam - or any other ideology that was incompatible with Christianity.
