When should the client be weighed to ensure accuracy?

Depends on when the client was weighed last time. The best time to be weighed is in the morning with no clothes on. As the day goes on, you gain weight from the food consumption throughout the day. So if the patient was originally weighed in the afternoon, in order to be consistent, you may want to keep weighing in around that same time to eliminate a false loss ( if weighed in the morning later) or a false gain ( if first weighed in the morning, then in afternoon)

Does althea cause weight gain?

based on personal experience, it made me gain weight. after giving birth, i was able to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight of 113 lbs. that time, i was on injectible contraception but it didn't work for me because i experienced break-through bleeding, severe pimples and mood swings. my OB then prescribed althea. everything is ok. my skin cleared up, no mood swings, headaches... the only bummer is i gained weight. i started taking althea July of 2008, i weighed 113 then. march 2009, i weighed 126 lbs. a year later, i weighed 136. and now, i weigh 140 lbs. i will visit my OB soon to discuss what i can do coz i actually, don't eat much and love fruits and vegetables, so there's really no reason for me to gain weight.
