Your hen might not be sitting on her eggs because she is too young or too old or she just doesn't feel like having chickens. If you give her time and don't force her she'll eventually sit in her eggs.

they are no longer brudy, or you have removed too many eggs or in the rare case the eggs have become infected with a parasite

It refuses to move from the eggs because, the eggs must be inquibated, or kept warm. The chicken will only move from her nest once a day to eat and drink for energy.
