i would say yes, if you are seeing each other on a somewhat constant schedule then you are "going steady" I would agree, just add that 'going steady' was an oldies term, so it means the same thing as 'going out' would today. And that's considered a commited relationship.

If you are in a commited relationship, you are not single. the only way you would be single to other people is if that person in a commited relationship is telling other people they are single because they want to cheat. but there is no way you are single if you are in a commited relationship.
