Probably to try to convert them away from satanism, & back to worshipping the One True God.
If you'd like to invite another church to your church, it would probably be best to send the pastor of that church a letter or e-mail inviting them to your church. Explain why you would like them to come, what the activities will be, etc. To be friendly, you may want to invite that pastor to deliver a short message or say a prayer as a part of the gathering.
If the ceremony is with in 30 miles of the officiants home/office, $50-$100 would be appropriate.
Dear [Name], I am writing to cordially invite you to join us in celebrating our pastor's anniversary service on [date]. Your presence and support would mean a great deal to us as we honor our pastor's dedication and service to our community. We hope you can join us in this special occasion. Warm regards, [Your Name]
It would still be "invite"
A bishop may choose to install a priest when he assumes an office in the Church. Usually "installation" would refer to the reception of an office which will have some relative stability to it such as "Pastor" or "Episcopal Vicar." Priests in hospital work, or assistants, or school work would not usually be officially installed into the office.
I am sure absolutely nothing would happen unless the Satanist announced his or her beliefs and sought to disrupt the proceedings. It is no doubt likely that Satanists occasionally go into churches to attend weddings and funerals of friends.
I would like to invite carrie to my birthday party.
It depends, if you like the girlfriend, then invite her as well. If you do not like her, you would not have to invite her, but it would be better to invite her anyways. But it could offend her.... or your father it depends on how much you don't like his girlfriend.
basically he assume most responsibilities that the normal pastor would take. he fills in until a new pastor can be found.
A Pastor shouldn't cost. He should do the work of God for the love on humanity. A donation would be acceptable but a profiteering pastor is a hypocrite.
I would just use INVITE e.g. I posted Invite yesterday.
verb or noun, depending on how you use it in a sentence. For example, invite in the sentence "Hey, I sent you an invite via email" would be a noun. Conversely, "I forgot to invite him to the party" is using invite as a verb :)
