You did not give us the name of the medication you are on so it's difficult to your question. If you would like to repost and give us the name of your medication we may be able to your question regarding the two doses you mentioned.
You should always work closely with your doctor and write down any questions you may have for him/her. If you are concerned and cannot get to a doctor then phone your pharmacist and express your concerns as to why you would be taking a CNS stimulant at breakfast and midday.
Because some of the medications to treat this can be habit forming your doctor is probably giving you limited doses and wants to stretch it out to meet your depressed state (which is very normal.) You will probably be on this medication for a limited time only so again, please work closely with your doctor.
