In order to be married in accordance with most states in the US, you must speak some kind of vows during your ceremony to be considered married, even if it's just "I take you to be my (spouse)". It's not a matter of want, but a requirement of the ceremony.
That's optional - it depends what kind of wedding you want.
It is where you want your destination wedding. Some couples combine the honeymoon with the ceremony.
If you want to. It's certainly not mandatory. For that matter, a dinner reception is not mandatory for a wedding.
The bride and groom choose the minister they want to perform the wedding vows.
it depends. it depends. it depends.
* A couple can get married in anything they want. Some have even bungy jumped or sky dived! Some couples prefer to be different. If you want to get married in bathing suits then do so, but for the bride a sarong for the bottom and a bathing suit top with a tropical flower in her hair would look smashing. The couples should choose what they really want to do as it's their wedding.
A wedding shower is a modern social contrivance. Whether you subscribe to it or not is up to you. Wedding showers were instituted to help equip couples who were starting their first household together. Nowadays, when many couples have either lived together or lived on their own prior to marriage, wedding showers are more often used to upgrade what the couples already have or for the couples to obtain luxury items for their households. There are even couples, that etiquette considers greedy, who request cash only gifts for showers and/or weddings that they want to use for their honeymoon, house downpayment, or other expense.
* I assume the married couple are redoing their vows because they may have had been married at the courthouse or, they were married in another country. It would be: Mr. & Mrs. John Doe on the wedding invitation. Or if you want an more informal Wedding Invitation you could put: Celebrating the marriage of John and Jane Doe.
It would depend on the season of the wedding. A person would not want to wear a short wedding dress in the winter. it would be too cold. Unless you want to freeze.
They can celebrate however many years they want to its there decision .usually you do it every 10 years
I don't know if there is a right or wrong, but wearing a wedding ring might confuse people as to your marital status. In Spain, for example, married couples wear their rings on their right hand. People might think you are married but from another country. I guess my question would be: Why would you want to wear a wedding ring once divorced?
I would say, "Cash in lieu of gifts would be appreciated."
