It is supposed to blow out the outlet hose. I would assume you have a leak in that hose.
unhook it from both ends and blow air through it Disconnect the line at the carburetor. REMOVE THE FUEL FILTER. Blow air through this portion of the line. If possible, remove the line at the fuel tank and plug the outlet in the tank. Now blow out the line between the filter and the tank.
If the engine has a carburetor the fuel filter will be where the fuel line connects to the carburetor. If the engine has fuel injection the fuel filter will be next to the fuel tank on the outlet tube.
Yes, there is an Inlet and Outlet. From the fuel tank, the fuel enters the inlet side and exits from the outlet side. The filter should be marked or possibly have different size connectors.
There is a filter screen on the outlet of the fuel tank. There is a filter mounted next to the fuel pumps under the car.
Yes. Inlet is from the fuel tank, outlet is going to the engine.
The fuel filter is replaced every 10,000 to 30,000 miles. If your not sure, remove the fuel filter, drain the gasoline, and try to blow air through it.
The arrows should point toward the front of the vehicle. Example. Front of vehicle <<< outlet (fuel filter) inlet <<< fuel tank
Depending on the fuel filter, it will either have an arrow or be label inlet and outlet. The arrow should be placed pointing away from the tank. Those labeled inlet and outlet will only attach in the correct direction.
The filter is located in the pump outlet pipe above the fuel tank. Most often the tank needs to be lowered to replace the filter.
The outlet faces the front drivers side of the car.
NO, they are flared
Need to check fuel pressure with a fuel PSI. gauge. I would give you the specs. on fuel pressure, But you did not say what you are working on.I would CHECK the FUEL FILTER First. Remove it and make sure that you can blow through it. I would tell you where that is, But I don't know the year.
