He is considered the 2nd most evil person of all time
That would be Josef Stalin.
As a communist I doubt if he did have any thoughts about God or any religion. It is my belief that as a follower of Satanic acts of brutality Stalin would not have belonged to any religion.
Because i would split the German Troops and reduce pressuare on the Soviets
In prison he adopted the name Stalin which translated as "Man of Steel". He felt that it would be good for his image and would make him sound more Russian than Georgian. Georgians were not considered to be Russians and the name Dzhughashvili was definitely not a Russian name.
Joseph Stalin wanted to make the Soviet Union a modern industrial state by introducing, "5 Year Plans." These plans would focus completely on industry and were to boost the Soviet economy. He also wanted to expand his western land into Poland and Finland.
At the time, Nazi Germany was pressing hard against the Soviet Union on the USSR's west. It would not be unreasonable to believe that Stalin wanted the Allies to invade Western Europe as a way of drawing off German troops, etc.
Stalin's mother had hoped that he would become a priest, and it appears that he did enrol to become one. The circumstances of his expulsion from the seminary are disputed, but it appears that he was considered unreliable and not a good student.
Joseph changed his name to Stalin to help prove his image to the public. Because Stalin means 'Man of Steel' in Russian, meaning that was the image he wanted everyone to see! Further, Stalin's birth name was obviously not a Russian name. The form of the name is uniquely Georgian and Georgia was not Russia. He knew that the true Russians in the Bolshevik Party would look upon him as an outsider and that the people of Russia would not want a "foreigner" to have governmental authority over them. In addition, Stalin wanted to emulate Vladimir Lenin, who had adopted the name Lenin in favor of his birth name Ulyanov. "Stalin" had a similar ring to "Lenin" so for all the above reasons, especially for the "Man of Steel" reason, he chose that. And besides, everybody who was anybody in the Bolshevik Party just had to have a special revolutionary name. It was all the rage. Lenin, Stalin, Trotsky, Zinoviev, Kamenev, Kalinin and others were all pseudonyms chosen for one reason or another.
Which Roosevelt?...and is it normal Stalin or rainbow Stalin?
USSR Communist leader Josef (Joseph) Stalin mainly aimed to expand Communism. He felt that 'Communism was one country of the world'. During the Cold War he began taking over many Eastern European countries that were weak and if any opposed Communism they would be killed or arrested. Soon, he controlled Eastern Europe. then he wanted to drive further but since the Truman Doctrine and the Marshall Aid came into the equation he couldn't expand Communism.
A possible word would be "villain".
Josef Stalin, leader of the USSR, did not really WANT to be allied with the Nazis. He hated Fascism and the Nazis. The USSR leaders chose to sign a non-aggression pact which also included an agreement to be allied. Josef Stalin knew Hitler would attack his nation. He wanted to buy time and hoped the non-aggression pact would provide some time. He was building up the military forces and war equipment so he would have the ready in case Japan attacked the USSR near Manchuria. Unfortunately, Hitler surprised the USSR by attacking much sooner than they had thought he would.
