depending on the volume the vibrations caused by sound waves will constently be hitting the glass an extreamly high volume would create waves powerfull enough to brake the glass.

Everything object has a frequency(resonant frequency), if this frequency is matched and amplifide the vibration can become greater then the object can handle and breaks.

On Mythbusters the did this with a wine clas and the got a steel bridge to vibrate trough out its length.

but any how it has to do with vibration

What wind speed causes window glass to break?

Window glass can break at wind speeds as low as 30-45 mph. The exact wind speed depends on factors like the size of the window, the quality and thickness of the glass, and the structural integrity of the building. High wind speeds can create pressure imbalances that can cause windows to break.

Can natural forces cause glass to break?

some natural forces can cause glass to break

Can you break a glass pack with water?

No, it is not possible to break a glass pack with water. Glass packs are designed to be durable and resistant to breakage. Adding water to a glass pack will not cause it to break.

Can a glass break before it hits the ground?

It is unlikely that a glass will break before it hits the ground. The glass may experience tiny fractures which will cause it to break upon impact.

Why doesnt the pressure of atmosphere break windows?

Pressure in the atmosphere doesn't break windows because there is the same pressure on both sides of the glass. Windows can break if there is a big difference on one side compared with the other.

How does glass break with sound?

When a high-intensity sound wave hits glass, it can cause the glass to vibrate at its natural frequency, leading to stress and ultimately causing the glass to break.

Why is it important to avoid rooms with windows during a tornado?

If the glass breaks, the pieces become projectiles and could be quite harmful to human life and/or cause great injury. Nobody would want to be in a room where pieces of glass were swirling about in an uncontrollable fashion.

How does the glass in car windows break?

It does not 'break', but rather it shatters. Automobile glass is designed (tempered) to 'shatter' into small cubic pieces so that it is less dangerous in case of an accident.

What harm do glass bottles cause to the environment?

Glass can only be recycled. It does not break down on its own.

How do you break a glass without touching it?

There are many ways to break glass without touching it. Here are a few methods: To do it with sound you need a sound that is a resonant frequencies of the glass you want to break. A sound that is the right frequency with enough volume will put energy into the glass and break it. Glass is one of the easiest materials to break using sound although any object can be broken using sound. A high enough air presure difference on glass surface will cause it to break. This is why they say to open windows when there is a tornado. Electricity at a high enough power can also break glass but it must overcome the non-conductive nature of glass before it will break. Even once you overcome the non-conductive nature of glass the heat generated by the electricity is what truly breaks it. Rapid temperature change (hot or cold) is the most common ways that glass is broken without any

Why does a glass break when you reach a certain sound?

A glass can break when exposed to a specific frequency of sound because the sound waves can cause the glass to vibrate at its resonance frequency, leading to a buildup of energy that can exceed the glass's strength and cause it to fracture. This phenomenon is known as acoustic resonance.

Can heat break glass?

Yes, heat can break glass. When glass is heated unevenly or too quickly, thermal stress can build up and cause the glass to crack or shatter. It is important to use caution when exposing glass to high temperatures.
