it sounds like the problem is your mass air flow sensor, very common problem, you might be wondering why it doesnt do it until it warms up, well your computer follows a present sensor readings until your vehicle gets to operating temp because when your vehicle is cold some of your sensors are not accurate, when vehicle gets to operating temp your computer switched from preset readings to actuall mass air flow reading, and if your mass air flow is malfuctioning your computer cuts off almost all the fuel to the injectors where just about all the car will do is idle.
