Bad fuse?
If the blinkers on your 1999 Ford Ranger have stopped working, it could be due to several issues. Common causes include a blown fuse, a faulty turn signal relay, or a problem with the wiring or switch. Additionally, a malfunctioning hazard switch can affect the blinkers as well. Inspecting these components can help identify and resolve the issue.
blown fuse
it may have nothing to do with your brake pads on my car the blinkers stoped working they still came on but they stoped blinking and i just had to repace the bulbs
I believe the flashers are on a separate fuse than the blinkers, that is where I would first start to look, is the fuse box
test your multifunction switch, located on left side of steering column
You have either a bad flasher, or one of the bulb's are burnt out.
u need to replace with a turnsignal light switch . there is a short in steering column
You need to replace your turn signal flasher. Check with your Chevy dealer for the location when you buy it.(10.00)
I would say that there is a miswiring of the blinkers.
make sure if someone unplugged the flashers and all you would have to do is plug it back in
I just had the same problem with my 95 intrepid and it was the sending unit that needed to be replaced.
I have now had the problem fixed, simply a bad connection under the dash. All is now fine.
