The naked mole rat also known as the sand puppy has zero pain sensors on the skin. Naked mole rats are very adaptable to climates but the most interesting fact is they may hold the key to humans living longer.
it's just a mole rat a naked one.
Naked Mole Rat maybe one of the strangest.
yes .....just make sure it is clear of deases and cancer naked mole rats are in the rodent family and have very poor health get it checked by a vet before you keep it as a pet.....they are lovable too
All naked mole rats can feel some sort of pain, but not the way humans do. They will feel pain if pricked by a needle, for example, but they will not react to acids or capsaicin (the stuff that makes chili peppers spicy). You could pour lemon juice on one of their cuts and they wouldn't flinch a muscle. I'm sure there are some naked mole rats out there who cannot feel any pain at all, but this would only be a genetic error. The reason for this may be that they live in carbon dioxide rich enviornments, which is harsh on the skin. It is likely an evolutionary adaption that they cannot feel this burning sensation. Search up 'Can Naked Mole Rats Feel Pain?' on google if you want the whole scientific explanation.
I have one I want removed and would be glad to give it to you! LOL Seriously, you can have it tattooed on.
Naked mole rats don´t make good pets and are available in pet stores in this world. You should buy or get pets from rescue homes in Australia, it is cruel to import animals, those animals are bad pets i had one and it bit in my couch and bit my leg and broke it now i have a hard time going to school .
I'm not sure what a "group" is, exactly. They're in order Soricomorpha (along with the shrews... soricomorphameans "shrew-form"), family Talpidae (the Latin for mole is talpa, which is also the name of one of the several genera of moles).
Naked mole rats are not a threatened or endangered species and have a wide range of habitat across East Africa. They are common in the wild, so a population count has not been attempted. They live in colonies of 60 to 80 and are one of only 2 eusocial mammals known.
One mole of anything is approximately 6.022 x 1023 units. So, one mole of Ba would be 6.022 x 1023 atoms. One mole of H would be 6.022 x 1023. And so forth...
There would be 6.022 x 1023 gas paricles in one mole of that gas.

You should not trap them. If you don't want them in you land put a mole scarer in one of there holes and they will leave and go somewhere else.
