L plates are used while a driver is still in the learning process of driving a car. The L plates remain until the driver in question has passed both their theory and practical driving tests, at which point the L plates are replaced with P plates. The P plate is a temporary measure signifying the driver is newly qualified.
can I let my grandson drive my car on L plates
You can use any car, it just has to have L plates on and has to be road-worthy.
what age do you have to be to get your l-plates in western Australia
I really wish someone with knowledge would answer this
R plates are only used in Northern Ireland. In England, L plates must be used to indicate a learner driver is behind the wheel and P plates can be used for driver who have recently passed their test (P plates are not mandatory).
Lonelylovelylostlacklusterlusterlush lustfullucidlifelike lionlike...? uh that's all i can think of. hopefully someone else can think of more.
L plates can be bought from most petrol stations or car accessory shops. Try Halfords.
It depends on the regulations in your country. I believe that in the UK, you would only be allowed to ride a motorcycle up to 50cc (with a provisional licence, L plates and insurance).
Use "an" before a word that begins with a vowel sound, so it would be "an L".
no
the biggest cc engine you can ride on is a 50cc on L plates i would suggest buying something like a aprilia rs50 as this will get you used to a feel of a bike they also go faster than the scooters
You are able to drive a 50cc without l plates if you have a CBT and full driving licence but you still need L plates if you plan on driving anything bigger like a 125cc
