It Seems like you may have a fuel sending unit problem
I have 2002 Aurora with the same problem.
Loose connector, wire grounding out, bad sensor.
Chevy already put the 5.3 Liter V8 in the Impala in 2006. It makes 303 H.P. Putting a 5.7 could be done, but the expense would be great. I would just look for a factory V8.
Maybe bad sending unitBad/Damaged fuel sending unit. Bad/damaged wiring. Locate the wires of the fuel sending unit at the fuel tank and unplug them, see if that makes the fuel gauge to be stable (may be up all the way of down all the way, but must stop moving). If the gauge still acts erratic chances are your wiring is wring of finally (but not common) the guague itself on the dash it's damaged..
Numerous gauges not working at the same time are a power issue. The instrument cluster needs to be removes so that the wiring and circuit board connections can be tested.
Both are quite fast, but i believe the 2006 would be faster than the 2005. 2005 Impala specifications, Horsepower (hp @ rpm): 240@5200 Torque (lb-ft @ rpm): 280@3600 2006 Impala specifications, Horsepower (hp @ rpm): 303@5600 Torque (lb-ft @ rpm): 323@4400 The 06' Impala has a higher displacement 5.3 Liter V8, where the 05 Impala has supercharged 3.8 Liter V6. More power = Faster car Most of the time more power means your car is faster, but sometimes weight, gear ratios, ect. make a diffrence.
Could be lots of things. You should have it checked for codes. The temp gauge problem would make me think of a possible temp sensor problem. It should be located near the thermostat housing.
Yes.
Can be a defective temperature sending unit. If you just chance the coolant can be air trapped in the cooling system. You would need to bleed all air from the system. Can also be a defective gauge, but highly unlikely.
I would presume the young of an Impala would be a fawn, like the common deer
You could have a bad thermostat....mine wasn't moving at all and the fan would come on at start up.Make sure to clear your computer after you change it.
i would say that an impala is similar to an antelope. Also, it could be a Gazelle
