Why would the fuses for the parking lights and dash lights keep blowing out on a 1994 Explorer?

Check the plug-in for the trailer lights, if it has one. If not, check the Headlight switch. It probably has a burnt wire.

Check your fuses. The cars book should tell you where the fuse box is, and which fuse is for your parking lights.

The dash lights on an Explorer are used to light the warning symbols and to illuminate the speedometer, gas gauge, and RPM gauge. These lights are controlled by fuses.

The Headlight switch is where the dash receives it's power from.
