The fuel sensor in the gas tank is bad.
I am willing to bet that you have had someting inside your gas tank or dash worked on recently. The issue is that the plug for your sending unit is on backwards or the wires to your gauge are reversed.
because the engine in that car does not cool down
It could be: Bad sending unit, bad gauge, faulty wiring, corroded connector or a bad ground wire. But that's probably the ONLY things that can cause your particular problem.
a bad sending unit in the gas tank.
Probably either the sending unit or a loose connection.
If you want a metric speedometer simply hold the info+return buttons down simultaneously for a few seconds, then you can switch to imperial units and vice versa. The better question is "where was that in the manual?" lol
Should still be under warranty at the dealer. probable causes: Bad connector or plug Module in tank defective Guage defective Computer issue
i would like to know what would cause the miss firing in Chevy Malibu
the spike in power. either take apart the cluster, and move the needle back to the top of the pin, or take a small wire, and run it though the odometer hole thing, and rotate it back
What would make your speed odometer stop working after putting an alternator on? 2005 Chevy Malibu
Plugged catalytic converter?
Underneath you would have to get under the car
