I don't have an answer but I have the same problem. Seems to flash on and off while stopped at red lights or when I put on the brakes. There's plenty of oil in the car because my husband faithfully changes the oil every 3k miles and I've been checking it regularly. B.Z. South Carolina
Sounds like your oil pump is getting weak. try a thicker weight of oil.
If not an oil leak, which can cause there to be less pressure and register it on the instrument panel, it can also be that the car is idling too low. If your oil is leaking, witnessed by a decrease in the amount of oil showing on your oil dipstick, there is a good chance that this is why the light is coming on. Fixing this problem sooner rather than later can save on the cost of repairs down the road.
The airbag light stays on when the computer detects a malfunction and sets a code.

A flashing check engine light is an indication of a severe engine misfire.
The best place to find an engine diagram for a Chrysler Sebring would be in the owner's manual. If you do not have your, contact Chrysler or check your library.
It would be very expensive considering that car doesn't have a carburetor.
I had one in a 1999 Sebring JXI. It would start flashing when the engine was hot and at idle. I removed the plug from the sensor and cleaned up the connections. It was good for about 6 months, but then started up again. I found that it was better to use 5-30 weight oil and now it only flashes when the oil is dirty.
The Sebring is a Chrysler product. Replace the crankshaft position sensor before beginning any diagnosis.
At the heater core itself.
The computer is the governor. You would need a way to reprogram it.
The Chrysler Sebring is a convertible. Just by looking at it you would think that it isn't. With the top on, it maintains a very classy appearance to it.
The dealer would be the first place I would check.
