Blown fuse.
look for word cig or cigar or lighter on the fuse diagram sometimes it is together with the radio
Most likely the fuse is blown, many cars have the cigar lighter and the radio on the same circut.
check the fuel pump fuse- cigar lighter fuse, you may have shorted the wires.
It's a fuse, there is one for your lighter and one for your radio, even if its marked for both. Both of these (a lighter and radio) draw to much energy for one fuse at the same time.
its the fuse
Either under neath the audio radio and/or in the center console page 84 of your owners manual- hope this helps
it is probably a fuse and it is labled cigar in a separate fuse panel directly above the fuse panel in the lower left side of the dash. if that is not it the dash panel around the radio has to be removed and the wiring checked at the lighter.
You'll have to reprogram the radio code into the radio. This is done to prevent use of a stolen radio. The code should be in your owners manual or the dealership can get it for you.
Plug a booster pack or car charger with a power point adapter into the power point (cigar lighter) of you vehicle before disconnecting the battery. This will keep power to your radio and security system. The bonus is it will even save you radio presets.
Turn on the radio and start pulling fuses. When the radio stops working, that is the fuse. Try the cigarette lighter fuse first.
The fuse is in the fuse block and is the same fuse as the radio. The fuse block is under the dash on the right side of the steering column.
Start by checking the fuses.
