I would debate whether "thermostatics" really would be the more appropriate title for mot thermodynamics textbooks, however in cases where the primary focus of the text is on equilibrium, using a term with "statics" might be more accurate than one with "dynamics". The origin of the current term comes from the work that was done on processes to convert energy from one form to another, which were typically dynamic processes that produced motion by using some kind of fuel to heat up a boiler - hence Thermo (for the heat) Dynamics (for the motion of the turbine or other engine).

To provide an appropriate title for the diagram, I would need to know its content and context. A good title should succinctly reflect the main theme or purpose of the diagram, capturing the key information it conveys. If you share details about the diagram, I can suggest a fitting title.
yes,the title is appropriate . It is specific in nature but at the same time it is representative. In olden culture earlier woman were considered as a burden. But when the palanquin bearers carry the bride as she is married ... they feel no burden because of the ecstatic environment . so , I think the title is appropriate ,as the whole , revolves around the bearers of palanquin .
