Get a sterile gauze pad or clean cloth to wrap around the wound. Then squeeze your cut finger hard with your other hand. Keep this direct pressure on for 10-15 minutes. If the bleeding hasn't stopped, get to a doctor to get it stitched up.

DON'T PUT IT IN THE DRYER that will "set" the bledding color! immediately put it back in the washer with a cup of white vinegar. that will lift the bleeding color but not fade the red. If you already put it in the dryer and "set" the bledding color, try using bleach to get the pink out, but don't get it on the red part. THat would turn the red white.
