You might be an extreme extrovert, so you feel isolated when you aren't around a lot of other people. Or, you might want to be there instead of at home, or you might have a problem at home.
Whatever reason it is though, it usually gets better with time, as we grow and learn to be comfortable in different kinds of situations, and find ways to deal with whatever circumstance we're in. One thing I like to do is keep a book with me, which distracts me from problems or loneliness. Just find your thing... and when you know that you can handle any situation, then you'll also be able to be a lot calmer in hyper situations, and okay in depressing situations. :)
If you're having so much trouble you don't think you can handle it yourself, then talk to a trusted adult, like a parent or a counselor at school. They can often find things that will help you cope.
