Why would you research cows?

Because they are very interesting creatures to study. There are still mysterious things about cows that people still don't know about, and require more research to completely know and understand about. Many people just don't understand that there's so much more to cattle than the fact that they sleep, eat, and give milk and beef.

More studies are needed about whether cattle are sensitive to the Earth's magnetic field, for instance. See the link below to read a thread on a cattle message board about the kind of research other cattlefolks want to see about cattle.
