Jonny didn’t want to cause a scene
They turn to Dally Winston. Because they think that he would no what to do. Also he tells Johnny " Good for you"
Pony decided that Dally couldn't take Johnny's death because Johnny was so young and good. Dally thought that was the reason Johnny died, from saving the kids from the fire. Dally was mad, because if Johnny was not as good, he might have been alive.
my advise for ponyboy and johnny would be to turn themselves in from the beginning. They were only defending themselves so i dont think anything would happen.
He doesn't, Dally doesn't want Johnny to turn himself in because Johnny would then be forced to go to jail. Dally didn't want jail to change him.
Dally would likely respond with strong disapproval, emphasizing that he doesn't want Johnny to live a life of fear and hiding. He believes in facing challenges head-on rather than running away from them. Dally values courage and would want Johnny to embrace life fully, rather than resigning himself to a life on the fringes. Ultimately, he would want Johnny to understand that true strength comes from confronting one's problems instead of escaping from them.
In "The Outsiders," Johnny announces that he wants to turn himself in after the incident where he and Dally killed Bob in self-defense. This decision shocks Dally, who believes that turning themselves in would lead to severe consequences for Johnny, given his troubled background. Dally gags at the thought of Johnny giving up his freedom and the hope of a better future, highlighting the stark differences in their outlooks on life.
Johnny thinks Paulie is a hero, because he has a beautiful, melodic voice, luscious black hair, perfectly droopy eyes that are a brilliant shade of hazel. He also has immovable heterosexuality, which is often questioned. But they love each other, so its okay! MCLENNON FOREVER
Dally got hauled into jail after Johnny killed Bob to be questioned. Since he has a criminal record more than a mile long, he would be the first person they would suspect that did it.
(This is reffering to The Outsiders by S.E.Hinton) Johnny feels vulnerable and thinks of Dally as invulnerable to everything. He wants to be that tough, that cool, and that strong in order to maybe have a better life.
Johnny dies more gallantly because he saved the children from the fire. He saved a lot of kids. Although Dally saves Johnny by letting him run away and helping, in the end Johnny would have turned himself in and Dally isn't very well-mannered and all about helping society.
Dally didn't have an actual dream he states, but he did dislike the Socs and wanted to have them beaten, but that would be difficult because they would be able to stay out of trouble because of their rich parents. Then there is Johnny; Johnny was the only thing Dally ever loved-as Ponyboy stated after Dally's death- and he was very protective of Johnny, so you could say his dream was to protect Johnny or maybe for Johnny to become more tougher and be able to care for himself.
Dally doesn't react violently to Johnny because he cares to much to hurt him and Johnny is apart of the gang.
