∙ 10y agoOne thing you can use it for is to create buttons that let you know when the mouse is over them by switching the image to a highlighted state image (you would of course have to create the image for the rollover before hand). It's a quick way to let people know what button they have selected before clicking it, and it's slightly more interactive than a static image. Another potential way to use it is to provide additional information about the subject of a picture when you place the cursor over the picture.
