Fish don't die for no reason. There is not information to answer with any certainty, but 9 times out of 10, sudden deaths of aquarium fish are due to toxins in the water. If your fish did die then it's either that the water was bad or it was ill. i have had fish for over 15 years and i ran a fish consultation service for 4 years, i have had literally thousands of fish sometimes out of the blue a fish dies, it happens to people everyday and it has nothing to do with the tank we live in, good fishkeeping to you.
Because water has the atom formula h20 which means 2 bits of hydrogen and 1 bit of oxygen, the fishes gills filter the oxygen out of the water and then puts it into the blood stream. You would then think that fish would die because the water would just be hydrogen but oxygen would be absorbed from the waters surface. This means that if you see a fish putting its head above the water for no apparent reason it means the water is not oxygenated enough. hope this helps.
For the same reason you would die if you were placed in space. The fish has evolved to live in salt free water so osmosis would take place as its body tries to equalise the difference in the composition of the water and the fishes body. The fish would die an agonising death. VERY CRUEL!!
the plankton population would decrease
There would have to be a reason why people die, so no.
I'm not sure, but, I had 2 gold fish die recently for no apparent reason. Am wondering if the upside down cat fish hurt them in any way. He always chases them around & they act frightened by the cat fish.
yah it would! you would die too if you ate a puffer fish!
all the fish would die
a clown fish will die because it is a ocean fish and with out salt water , it will die in fresh water.
absoulutley not the fish would die soon after you put it in and it might die that day.
Fish have gills and they absorb the water of the sea, ocean or anyplace with water. It's just like air. Without air we would die. Without water fish would die.
If the fish are fresh water fish the kidneys would not work. The fish would die.
Feed it.
